Memphis Prop Busters

Here is a listing of the club events for both the Memphis Prop Busters, local clubs, and other major events. If you've got an event you would like listed here, please email the Webmaster.

The Memphis Prop Busters have two events that we host throughout the year. The first Saturday of each month we host a float-flying day at Shelby Farms. Check the About Us page for more information. On the second Saturday of each month, we host a club training day where the public can try out a club-owned airplane for free! Check the Flight Training page for more information.

Bring the entire family for an afternoon of great events, burgers, and horsetrading! We will have more information as the date nears, but this is a great time to get rid of some of old planes and make room for new ones.

Our Spring Warbird Fly-In is a wonderful time to showcase your latest scale masterpiece. We will have more information as the date nears.

 

The Giant Scale Fly-In is open to any giant scale aircraft (1/4 scale or 80+ inch wingspan). 3D is allowed, and we had many 3D participants last year.

 

Our Fall Warbird Fly-In is a wonderful time to showcase your latest scale masterpiece. We will have more information as the date nears.

 

The Fall Fun Fly is the last hoorah before the winter sets in. With mild temperatures and great food, there's no excuse not to bring the whole family out!

North Mississippi Radio Control Club
The North Mississippi Radio Control Club is located near Arkabutla Lake, MS, approximately 45 minutes south of the Propbusters. Those who have been flying for years may remember this club as the Whitehaven RC club.

Millington Barnstormers
The Millington Barnstormers is the Propbusters closest neighboring club, located in Millington, TN. They are approximately 15 minutes west/northwest of the Propbusters.

Skyblazers Air Park
The Skyblazers are located about two hours east of the Propbusters down Highway 64 near Savannah, TN. They have hospitality down to an art and always host some wonderful events.

Magic Valley Air Force
The Magic Valley Air Force is a club located in Henderson, TN, roughly one hour east of the Propbusters.

West Tennessee RC Flyers
The West Tennessee RC Flyers are located in Jackson, TN, a little over an hour northeast of the Propbusters.
